Do I really need edge protection for a single-storey house?

What is the difference between Edge Protection and full Scaffolding?

Edge Protection is a guardrail system attached to the perimeter of the roof, designed solely to prevent falls while walking on the roof. If you are only re-roofing or installing solar, Edge Protection is often the faster, more cost-effective option.

Can you install protection on steep or complex roofs?
